Wonderful hotel with a fantastic location and excellent staff!

I was very pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious. The hotel staff is very nice. We very much enjoyed ourselves at this hotel. The rooftop bar is the place to be in the evenings - see the sunset and stay for cocktails!

Stay at the Athens Hilton

I stay at the Hilton hotels frequently and have exposure to a lot of hotels around the country and around the world. In general I prefer to stay at the Hiltons, that's why I am a gold member, because of their reliability cleanliness and good service. The Hilton in Athens is one of my favorit, because of it's location - unbelievable view to the Acropolis-but also because of it's people. The service is exceptional and the amenities unserpassed. During my recent stay October 22 to 26 2014 the hotel is hosting the largest cardiology meeting in Greece with over 3000 attendies. Yet the services were as good as ever , the breakfats unbeleavable and the people made my stay a breeze. I would go back any time.

Great location and lovely hotel

Stayed at the Hilton Athens last month.... Stay was great... We were in the business level that has a lounge area with a terrace overlooking Acropolis. Breakfast was included and so was wine in the afternoon... Service was on spot, the room was lovely, and the location is great. I LOVED that MILOS Seafood restaurant is on property too!

decent hotel with dreadful service

This hotel is aesthetic pleasing, but when you pay Hilton’s high price you had better get a nice place to sleep. The rooms are nice, not amazing. The hotel staff, specifically the front desk completely lack customer service and would prefer to stare at their computer then help patrons literally standing in front of them. This hotel is not worth staying for the price you pay.

I will say, if you’re looking for an overpriced drink accompanied with an amazing view, head to the Hilton’s rooftop terrace. Yes the drinks are pricey, but the view is unbeatable and the staff working are all lovely.

Home away from home

I have been coming here regularly, 6 times a year and can attest to the fact that this is the best business hotel in Athens, but I would also recommend it for tourism. Service, location, views of the Acropolis, especially from the spectacular Galaxy bar, and the best breakfast buffet in town. Unambiguous 5 stars !!!
