We stayed here before a recent cruise and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is very large and modern with a very big light lobby. It is located about half an hour from Athens Airport and a 15 minute walk from the centre of Athens but the metro is closer. Our room was large with a small balcony with table and chairs and a very smart bathroom. There was quite a bit of traffic noise when sitting on the balcony but the soundproofing was good when inside the room. There is a large swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. We ate at the rooftop restaurant and had a delicious dinner with a fantastic view of the Acropolis at sunset but we paid a lot for the experience as we thought the meal was expensive! Breakfast was buffet style with a choice of just about anything you could want. An excellent start to our holiday and highly recommended.

On arrival the staff were very welcoming and provided me with a key to access the Exec floor to check-in. The location of the hotel is excellent, within easy walking distance of both the airport bus and metro. The pool opening hours were suitably long given the excellent weather.

Wonderful views of the Acropolis from the Exec Lounge and rooftop restaurant. I was very pleased to receive good Diamond recognition with an upgraded room on a HHonors reservation and a tasty breakfast in the lounge. Easy walking distance to the Acropolis. The hotel is clean and well-kept.

Room Tip: Acropolis view if you can! Exec floors are 10-12, with the lounge on the 11th.

Stayed the first night of our honeymoon on United award points (zero status with Hilton) and they treated us like royalty. Upon checkin they instantly congratulated us and within 30 minutes of being in the room, they sent a fruit and dessert platter with champagne, compliments of the hotel. Rooms are large by European standards with a comfortable bed and balcony. Hotel is close to the metro and only a €39 taxi ride to the airport. Would highly recommend to any family or friends. The Galaxy restaurant on the rooftop was a big plus too. Great food and amazing views of the Acropolis! Only downside is no free Wifi in the rooms...that being said the buffet breakfast helps make up for that fault. ;-)

Prior to a recent Greek Cruise we stayed for one night at the Athens Hilton. Although it might be thought that I could not give a subjective review, I can say that the little time spent there felt right.
Having stayed in many classes of hotel the world over I can say that from the minute we arrived the Hilton quality showed through. No one can doubt that Athens is a very busy city indeed, but this was a tranquil haven for the weary traveller.
The staff were friendly and most efficient, and the room were in though not an expensive one, was perfect, clean and well appointed and modern in design.
The food, though not cheap, was of the highest quality and worth paying the price, we had the buffet which was first class.
We spent the evening by the pool, which was safe and clean and once again was quiet and tranquil.
I would be the first to say if in Athens and you want the best, then the Hilton should be at the top of the list.

This hotel is great! About a block and half walk to the metro stop, so getting around is easy. About a 5 block walk to any food alternatives though, so that is kind of a pain (Kolonaki Square). The food at the hotel is very expensive, $65 for a burger, club sandwich, and a Coke at the pool resturaunt, so making the walk is worth it.

We stayed on the Executive floor, so we had access to the lounge. The food in the lounge was great, but the staff was very rude. Actually had staff follow us to the elevators to see if we were taking drinks out and were asked to leave the lounge once because we had food from outside. I was also scolded for bringing half a Coke to my room the day we arrived.

We had a complementary bottle of sparkling water in our room, when I asked if we could exchange it for a bottle of still water, I was told I had to order a bottle from roomservice @ $10 a bottle. We ended up walking across the street and buying one for 1 euro.

The staff at this hotel left a bad taste of what would have been a fabulous stay.

The location is good, the view to the acropolis is stunning. Since the olympic games the personal is very friendly (beofr you had the feeling that you disturb them). The food in the restaurant down varies a lot, I had quite good staff, but also extremely bad quality. The fitness room is okay, the outside pool nice. For brekfast you should try the yogurth and honey, very tasty. The bar and restaurant on top are fantastic, take a drink at sunset in the galaxy bar with the view on Acropolis and sea. From the hotel you can walk to the city center in about 15 minutes and you are five minutes away from the byzantine museum. The next metro station is three minutes away. As the hotel is located at a main street it can be noisy (most hotels in Athens and this one is clean, what is not obvious for other expensive hotels in Athens)

Room Tip: If you can get a suite with view on Acropolis you will enjoy a private steam bath
