Nice place to stay in Athens.
Classy area close to town square and metro.
Recommend Kolonaki to any one great place to stay.

Kolonaki is the neighborhood that surrounds Lukavettos Hill. In the centre of Athens, this is the most upscale area. The shopping, dining, museums, and quiet green spaces set this neighborhood apart from all others. Parking is by permit only in most areas, and some kiosk sell timed tickets for public parking where allowed.

That is one of the most expensive areas of the city. If you walk at the steep streets of this neighbourhood you can go shopping to some of the most elegant and expensive boutiques, or have a lunch, dinner, coffee, or drink at one of the many establishments scattered around. It can be a bit expensive choice, but this neighbourhood is like New York's fifth avenue!

This used to be the place to be in the 80's and it feels like it's past it's hay day. Older crowds in the cafes, but still a good place to people watch and perhaps do some shopping.
