Much to see in well displayed museum. Not all of the rooms were open during our first visit, returned to see the gold jewelry. English descriptions.

There is so much to see here, was surprised you were able to take pictures of the displays. So much gold and jewelry. Lots of intact sculptures. Worth the minimal admission fee

I'm so amazed of the artifacts that the museum has, from nude images to half human/half animals images..and other objects

It does not beat the British Museum but it is well worth a visit. The building facade is impressive.

This museum ranks right up there in my top 3 museums of all time. It is as wonerful as the Museum of Art History in Vienna Austria and The Pergamon of Berlin. It feel it was better than the New Acropolis Museum but i am sure others may differ. It covered so many different eras and cultures, it was amazing. And the Shipwreck of Antikithera exhibit was fantastic. I especially liked that we were allowed to take pictures! This should not be Missed!
