This is a must see if in Athens. Amazing building with pillars that go on forever. Part of the Acropolis ticket. The masculine to the Erechtheion's feminine. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes as there is a bit of a climb.

At the time I climbed up to the Parthenon, there was a lot of construction happening. On top of that, the guards were constantly yelling at us or other people to not sit down, not touch anything, not go here or there. While I completely understand the need for this, it does really take away from the experience of being somewhere with such historical significance. However, I would of course suggest going! Don't miss out.

One of my all-time favorites! You can buy a 12 Euro Acropolis ticket that includes this, Hadirans Library, Agora, Mars Hil, The Athena Nike Temple WITH the Olive Tree, etc). This structure is beyond words...the architecture, the reliefs, just the whole thing! Definitely don't want to miss it! There is a small climb to get to the top--wear good shoes; not friendly for strollers & take extra care with small children & the elderly because of all the loose rock, uneven ground. INCREDBILE!
