If you're going to the Parthenon (which if you're thinking of going here I'm guessing you will be) then you can get into the Agora area on the same ticket, if not then it's 4 euros for a 2 day ticket.
It's nice to just amble around and think about what it must have been like 3000 years ago (!) and then when you get 'ruined out' you can wander off and find a cafe, knowing that you can come back later.
I found it more enjoyable than the Parthenon as it was much less crowded; you can get right up close to everything; and it's not just all about the restoration work.
