Right across from Hadrian's Gate, the Athens Gate Restaurant is easy to find. The view is beautiful, but when we arrived to watch the sunset, it was so hot in the restaurant that they had to open the doors. Unfortunately, our table was by the door and the wind was terrible. Finally, the door was shut and we all baked until the sun set. We ordered from the fixed price menu that we had read about (the waiter did not mention it) and thought we were getting a bargain. Later, after eating in several other restaurants in Athens, we realized it was sort of expensive. But, the food was very good and the service was okay.
