Smile cafe contributes to the printing of free tourist maps around Athens and that way they advertise their cafe; clever marketing! Anyway, that's how we found it, it is located near he Acropolis and Athens Gate hotel where we were staying.
On this occasion, in Winter, this restaurant was very quiet but in Summer I imagine it would be packed. Prices here were good and service was efficient and very friendly. For 10euros I got a Greek salad, seafood pasta and glass of red house wine which was great. This was part of their 'Crisis Menu' which takes after the steep financial downturn Greece is experiencing. The waitress was very friendly and kept smiling. I also tried the baklava for desert; delicious!
