Souvlaki is a touchy thing for me. I love the taste, but most of the time, especially back in the States, I find that it's overly dry and tough. Bar.B.Q's was immaculately cooked, tender throughout and bursting with flavor. They supposedly came stuffed with cheese, and I think the cheese melted and permeated through the meat, keeping it soft and juicy. We also had some pork balls for an appetizer, which were also very well flavored and cooked. Eating in a Greek restaurant can be slow, but the staff was friendly and kept on pace with our eating speed (which was very fast because we hadn't eaten all day). It might not be the most "Greek" meal you imagined eating in Athens, but it might just be one of the best you'll have!
