“Good budget hotel - easy walk to all sights.”
Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

When we originally arrived at this hotel, we were a bit disappointed as it seemed out of the way, across two big streets and up a steep hill dragging our suitcases. However, when we headed over to the Acropolis, it really was very close - only perhaps 6 - 8 min walk and easy to find. There is a peekaboo view of the acropolis from the street near the hotel and probably from some rooms on upper floors but most rooms would not see it. Apparently you can see it from the bar in the top floor. However, There is a supermarket, bakery and pharmacy nearby. We had a little balcony but overlooking a busy little street so we didn't really sit on it. The best part of this hotel is that it had the best bed we've slept on in all of Greece! The room was modern and clean. We were first shown a room on the second floor but you could clearly hear all the noise from the lobby area from inside the room so we took one on the third floor. It was better but we did still find that it was not very sound proof (our only negative). The desk clerk who checked us in and the young woman in the dining room were both lovely! We had booked at a good rate so breakfast was not included but we did pay the extra $5 euro per person for breakfast the first morning. The buffet selection was better than most tourist hotels we've been in. We would recommend this hotel, but don't expect it to be in that cute area of wandering streets around the acropolis. It's a nice budget hotel in a local area, but within easy walking distance of all the main sights.

The location of this hotel is great (once you find it), being 5 minutes from the metro and tram stop. The roof terrace does have amazing views of the acropolis and the breakfast staff were lovely.
The room was really small which wouldn't have been an issue if we were only staying for 1 night but we were staying for 5 and couldn't really unpack so this did spoil it a little for us. We stayed another 4 nights in Athens after this in a different hotel for the same price and it was was much nicer so I personally wouldn't recommend this hotel. However, I must admit, the beds were extremely comfortable!

The hotel rooms may be small, but have a nice layout. What rooms in Greece aren't small unless 5 star. We only stayed here 1 night but we wish it had been all 3 while in Greece. The bed as others have said was spectacular, compared to some of the hardest and most bleached sheets I've ever seen at the Best Western Amazon in Athens. The front desk was very helpful with maps and directions. It would have been difficult to find, but we used our google maps on iPhone to direct us there. Worth the minutes on our plan. They also called us the most wonderful female cabbie who gave us a wonderful tour of the city, she waited for us at different stops. We enjoyed this hotel, and the view from the rooftop was great!!

Looking at the Parthenon, Acropolis and and other landmarks, while having breakfast is a dream that comes true in Acropolis Ami Boutique Hotel. Lovely small hotel with excellent service. The staff - always smiling and helpful, delicious breakfast on top of the building. I'm impressed. I recommend it to anyone who combines business with pleasure. The tram and metro are very close to the hotel. Expect me again.

Very nice hotel, 5 min. walk to the Acropolis. The room are clean, the bed are comfy, nothing to say bad about this hotel. The roof terrace is a must to see with the view of the Acropolis. The breakfast is on the roof so you wake up with this magnificent view and at night you can have a drink or two... The staff are very friendly. I will go back for sure :)

Rooms are tiny and bathroom is like hell! Drinks at 'roof garden' are expensive. And there is no breakfast included in price of room of 80 euro?!
Yes,you can see Acropolis from terace, but thats not important if you are not satisfied with room.

Good hotel in a good place. With nice breakfast. The staff is very friendly (especially the girl at the roof bar). The rooms are clean, and big (they move me to another, big one). They helped me with a lot of locations in the city (I mean the staff is very competent). Its a great hotel.
