We stayed at AthenStyle in May 2013 for two nights. We caught the train from the airport to Monastiraki Square (€14 for two people) and it was just a short walk to the hostel.
We had a private room on level five which was clean, spacious (except the bathroom) and had a good view of the acropolis and down town Athens from the large balcony.
The girls on reception were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was simple but good with cereals, breads and juices.
The wifi was only in the reception but there was also three computers downstairs.
The rooftop bar was convenient and cheap for beers and light food. The first night was a bit roudy until the bar closed but it is a hostel so fair enough.
Overall, a good place to stay in Athens as an alternative to a cheap hotel.
