Food is AMAZING. Spent several days in Athens and had THE best dinner here. Thank you! :)

Had the Saganaki (Fried Cheese), Greek Salad, and Bread (to DIE for!).

View is also breathtaking and staff very polite and friendly!

“Very poor”
Reviewed April 28, 2012 via mobile

Location is absolutely good with acropolis breathtaking view but that's the best thing of the restaurant
Staff is not so polite and very used to "throw" meals over guests tables.
Food is not rich at all...I ate fried cheese (ok) but moussaka and gyros were scrappy
Prices on average
I would not recommend this place at all

“Great food, reasonable price, awesome view”
Reviewed February 1, 2012

We ordered the medium Mixed Assortment of Meat for two people and walked away with plenty of leftovers. The grilled meats were tender and juicy, the potatoes tasty and the garlic/feta/yogurt sauce was awesome. We also had the grilled veg appetizer, two beers and a soda for 50 euros with tip. Th grilled bread with herbs and olive oil almost spoiled our dinner because we couldn't stop eating it! Our host also brought us "free" desserts of cake soaked in honey. Nice finish to a nice meal. Our visit was on one of the coldest days, so not many patrons, and yet the service was still a bit inattentive. We had o ask for more beer, water, and the check, but we can overlook it for the tasty food.

“Good food near the Agora”
Reviewed September 2, 2011

This whole street is lined with restaurants that all look the same. Most of them are overpriced and touristy. If you want really good food, you probably should eat in a different area. However, didn't mind eating here to enjoy the atmosphere of the Acropolis at night under a full moon.

All things considered, the food here was quite good. Better than many of the other places we tried.. The service was hit or miss. The stuffed onion was very yummy and not something we really saw anywhere else.

Overall I'd say if you are looking to dine in this area for the atmosphere this a great pick for the food and price.

“Okay but nothing special.”
Reviewed August 27, 2011

We came here due to the good reviews and that we found many Greeks at this place too.

However the Greek salad was so so and the Saganaki (feta cheese from the oven) was okaish. We expected a bit better quality but the Gavros (fried sardelles) where quite good.

We've seen better places, more creativity and also better atmosphere. Well you can see the Acropolis from the Diodos but still it feels like a tourist place.

You find better places just one street towards Ermou street. Thus I would NOT recommend it if you are looking for the real deal.
