“A mini Parthenon”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

I liked this building as it felt like a mini Parthenon and as it was pretty much fully intact you could appreciate the building more (although on a much smaller scale than the Parthenon). The grounds this sits in are lovely, especially on a nice day, and aso contain the Stoa of Attalos. The access to the grounds is included in the 12 EURO pass which you use to access The Parthenon and other sites.

The temple of Hephæstus is besides the Museum the most attractive building in the ancient agora of Athens. Beautiful temple well preserved and worth visiting.

“One of the best spots in Athens”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

This temple is an excellent work of art, like many others in Greece. What I particularly love about this place is the fact that is is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Athens. The whole area around the Acropolis rock/ hill is an excellent place for long walks. The area is a lot greener than other parts of athens with beautiful cafes and restaurants. It definitely worths a visit.

“Worth the little climb”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

In the Agora, it pops up above the trees. quite complete with the internal structure still there - you can walk all around it and get a great feel for what it would have been like
