Our roof-top table offered the most spectacular view of the Acropolis.
The atmosphere at Strofi held us spellbound and the traditional Greek fare was mouth-watering. As a family of four, we enjoyed it so much we ordered three courses and shared much of our food. As the sun faded and the Acropolis lit up, the view became almost magical.
We had only been in Greece for a couple of hours, but as we soaked up the atmosphere, we were already in love with the place.
Our evening at Strofi was definitely one of the highlights of our five week holiday, and we were pleased they had managed to squeeze us in. We definitely felt this must have been the best restaurant in Athens - we didn't want for anything, and the bill didn't break the bank.
Highly recommended.

Make sure you book a table on the enclosed terrace for a stunning view of the Acropolis, unlike the review we read no one was smoking and it was a lovely environment. The service was excellent the staff weren ' t even phased when a small child threw up on her plate! The food was amazing we had the lamb baked with rosemary and potatoes and the clay baked veal both of which were to die for and the price was good, two mains two desserts, coffee and wine all for €57.

Strofi serves good food and has nice views of the Parthenon from the upstairs terrace, but non-smokers beware! If you object to cigarette smoke you will be banned from the terrace with the view and sent downstairs. We went in winter when the terrace was enclosed and we were subjected to pungent cigarette smoke that eventually made our child feel ill. We questioned the waiter who said that smoking was allowed on the terrace because it was open to the air - however, being winter, it was then enclosed! The restaurant was not interested in doing anything about this, and when we spoke to the owner afterwards he thought that disadvantaging non-smokers was a perfectly adequate solution, never mind the health risks to his staff (he claimed implausibly that they all were smokers!). He did admit that he was flouting E. U. regulations. Only recommended for smokers.

My fiance and I wandered to the Acropolis after the Parthenon had closed, so we went to the Acropolis Museum, which was still open. We left the museum starved and were in luck, as Strofi was right around the corner. This three story restaurant has the most incredible views of the Acropolis, and the most delicious food! My fiance ordered the fried squid, a greek salad and a kebap. He loved the salad and his main course, but wouldn't recommend the squid. I got a light balsamic glaze salad that was to die for. I highly recommend anyone eat at Strofi during a trip to Athens - the food, view and service are all exceptional.

It's small but 3 storey restaurant, we walked passed this restaurant while looking for it, but lucky they're very popular, we asked someone and got directed exactly where, anyway! the service is warm and great, the manager accepted us even if we don't have a booking in a busy night, waiter knows everything in the menu and can explain what you really need to know, we sitted in the middle, tables with the perfect parthenon view is booked, the food are awesome, had my first ouzo and it's kinda bit strong for me. will recommend this for group and in a romantic date.
