“Nice restaurant in Plaka”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

Second visit to this family-owned restaurant and I enjoy my visit as much as the first time. The service is excellent and food is grade A. Nice selection of greek dishes (I recommend the mousaka). Try their frozen yogourts. The location is great with a gorgious view of the Acropolis. Don't miss it during your next stay in Athens.

“The one *must* on the way down from the Acropolis for food.”

Excellent, family owned restaurant. The prices are more than just and the quality of the cuisine is grade-A. The staff and management are extremely kind and helpful. The feta cheese and honey is a must-have.

“Go here! Favorite restaurant in Athens!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

I went here last night and really enjoyed it. The location is amazing with a gorgeous view of the Acropolis, but still well priced. The menu is amazing that I had a difficult time choosing and ended up eating the variety platter just to try it all. Highly recommended.

“Nothing special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

This restaurant sits along a strip of similar restaurants. We selected this one based on the Trip Advisor reviews. After eating there, though, I wonder what makes this one any different. They all had music and similar menus. No, we didn't eat in any others along that strip but just found this to be normal Greek fare.

“It's called Dia Tafta and what's the big deal?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013 via mobile

The live music is a nice touch. The food portions are okay. The octopus was overcooked. The chicken breast was overpriced. The fries were dry. The lamb was good. The greek salad came with no dressing. They charge 1 euro per person for bread! Shame! Total if these 2 appetizers and 2 dishes with the bread, no drinks: 44 Euros plus 2 Euro tip. Equivalent to $70!!!! Are you kidding me? It wasn't even im central plaka; more like off to the side.
