Found this place on trip advisor and we were quite interested in visiting because we were stating in ladyville... Not far away. Keep your eye out for the sign that is painted on the side of a building next to a gas station (puma?)....keep driving down the dirt road and you will see the processing facility on your right... Go further between the shrimp ponds take a right and follow that to the restaurant. Don't get worried if you get turned around everyone we encountered in Belize was SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL and being that we were driving ourselves everywhere and roads aren't marked like in the states we were lost a lot!
On arrival we got some frosty belikins and enjoyed the breeze and the view. Sitting at the bar was the owner Kim...she was so so SO friendly kind and informative as we asked her 1000 questions about her life in Belize, her business, and tourist dos and donts. We were the only customers at the time so we got star treatment and we so appreciated that! Kim's sister Lisa even offered to have me back to the restaurant to teach me how to make traditional rice and beans Belizean style since I love to cook. We never made it back and I'm sorry Lisa!!! We were also able to watch the fisherman catch our shrimp - talk about farm to table! Doesn't get more fresh than that! Thank you to Kim, Lisa, and one other sweet wonderful young lady whose name I've forgotten :( for a delightful meal and conversation! I highly recommend a visit here during your stay in ladyville or Belize city!
