“It was Spoilt”

There was about ten of us , and we had a good meal, and l must say my steak was gorgeous it melt in the mouth, and every one also enjoyed there meal to , so what happened next really spoilt it, there was a ginger cat wondering in the restaurant and people were stroking it while waiting for there food then we could not believe it , it jumped on a empty laid table , a young man came out of the kitchen and one of my friends said to him excuse me but there is a cat on that table and we thought he would get it of but he said oh he is waiting for his dinner, well he might have thought that was funny as he was smiling but we didn't

“Food is below par”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2012

We came here for Sunday lunch whilst on holiday in Suffolk last October.
The place is ok but nothing special, the pub itself is a lovely building in a nice setting with a stream one side and a children's playground on the other. The décor is pretty standard pub style with dark table and chairs and patterned carpets etc.

The staff were friendly enough and service was efficient, but was let down by the poor quality food. We all had the Sunday roasts and they were really not great. Felt a lot of care and extras were missing from what we are used to in a good Sunday roast. Food was not that tasty, overcooked or undercooked in places and felt the prices were expensive especially given the poor quality food.

The best thing was the large fish tank which our children enjoyed a lot more than the food. I am afraid we would not re-visit.
