Perfect little cottage ,sparkling clean all you need for a perfect break
We will certainly return and can recomend
Today we (myself and my 11 yr old daughter) returned from our 3 night break at Glenview.
The cottage was awesome on all levels, immaculate, homely, had everything needed and it’s location was spot on. All appliances were easy to use, and having a washing machine was an added bonus. We didn’t use the built in bbq but that, along with comfy sun loungers were all there to use. My daughter used the double bed and I used the sofa bed, (all clean, ironed bedding provided for sofa bed). Sofa-bed was easy to use and there is enough space in the cottage to leave the bed made up if you wish. Tv had netflix - another bonus, and underfloor heating in bathroom and kitchen.
The weather was on our side, waking up with the sun beaming down, stable door open and watching the birds feed, we almost felt as though we were abroad.
Bridget supplied milk, tea and coffee for our arrival. The beach was 2 mins walk away, and a lovely walk along the stream and up into the woods was just opposite the cottage. Driving along the coast you have an abundance of beaches to choose to enjoy. Awesome photo opportunities of such a wonderful coastline.
We ate at St Brides Inn (1 minute away from the cottage) on one occasion, we booked in advance as the website advised, and we had the best seat in the bay window, the staff were lovely, the food was gorgeous, and they even offered smaller portions at a reduced rate. Great value.
Communication was great and Bridget even emailed and notified us of a trip to Skomer to see the Puffins. We went Coasteering at St David’s (pre-booked) and body boarded at Little Haven. The seaside town of Little Haven is lovely and I would recommend to anyone to take advantage of Glenview.
We will definitely be returning, and am looking to book right now to avoid disappointment. Thank you Bridget.
The accommodation was absolutely perfect very comfortable with added little touches to make it a home. Clean and cosy with plenty of storage space. Would definitely book again. Little Haven is a lovely place and not too far away is Broadhaven also a lovely spot.
Our second short break at Glen View and it was just as good second time round! Glen View is a wonderful base from which to explore the local area. In Little Haven itself there are 3 good pubs and a lovely cafe as well as direct access to the beaches and coastal path. Glen View represents fantastic value too. We aim to be back for round 3 shortly!!
We had a lovely few days at Glen View in Little Haven. The cottage was very comfortable for the us and our 3 year old daughter. It had a nice terrace with views across the valley, perfect for summer BBQs! The cottage was a short walk to the beach and three pubs. Great coastal walks in either direction. We really enjoyed our stay and considered it very good value - hope to return.
Little Haven is just lovely, it certainly deserves it's name. Had a week at Glen View which is ideally located. Nice and higher up and out of the way. Very clean, had absolutely everything we needed, comfortable bed, and extremely cosy, would definitely recommend. Lots of birds to see out of the living room window as the birds can have a feast on the "bird station" set up on the yard area. Mr Squirrel likes to visit too. All 3 pubs are lovely and 2 are dog friendly which was perfect for us. Food very good at the 2 dog friendly pubs. Loved having a walk over to Broad haven on the beach when the tide was out. Plenty to see and do either on foot on the coastal path, or a drive out to Scolton Manor etc. Definitely a place to come back to.
