“Very nice dining experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2014

We found this rather upscale restaurant after several evenings of dinners in casual settings and we couldn't have been happier.......except for the hour wait between finishing our meal and getting the check! It is located on the water in the harbor with a very nice ambience. We have eaten there twice and suggest trying the pasta, the pizza and the lobster. The steak wasn't as good as expected but acceptable. They seemed to be short staffed the first evening we were there which delayed service significantly.

“Fabulous Italian!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

We had two dishes at Al Porto which were both fabulous.

The seafood pasta was to die for while the oven baked pizza also hit the mark.

Having eaten Italian food in many major city centres including Italy itself, I can certify that this was authentic Italian food and not a North American perversion.

If you're looking for Italian in Jolly Harbour look no further than Al Porto despite the trip advisor ratings ;)

“Tasty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2014

We came here after a sunset cruise and were pleased. The server was friendly and the service was quicker than the other places we have dined this week. I ordered a pasta dish with clams, shrimp, and mussels...DELICIOUS! A very decent portion as well. I would go back.

“great pizza!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2014

Came here for my mothers birthday on Tuesday 21st January. Stephanie sorted out my reservation over email as we were staying at the Jolly Beach Resort. The food was to die for and they also sang happy birthday to my mum whilst bringing out their ice cream birthday supprise! Will go back if ever in Antigua!

“French DONT Do Pizza”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2014

What was a good waterside Italian themed Pizza Restaurant is now just a bland place to eat which cannot aspire to call itself Italian. The food and atmosphere like its French owners lacks character and is bland and has fallen down since the French owners acquired it last fall partially as they will not interact with clients and are more intent standing looking at staff do the work rather than help out however they do eat their own meals standing up at the servery area in full view of all customers.Drinks appear more expensive than other restaurants and whilst you dont mind paying if food- atmosphere complement each other not the case.Pizza is really thin and our four were all burnt around the edges, service is hit & miss as current staff seem unhappy, So only go if you cannot get in anywhere else or the Eppie has run out of food
