We have had lunch and dinner here on a number of occasions, latest last week, and have been impressed every time by the quality of the food, the presentation, the professional staff and the ambiance. The 17 euro lunch menu and the 22 euro dinner menu, with multiple high-quality choices, are exceptional. Large high-quality joints of beef and other meats are on display in a glass chill cabinet, and steaks etc. are cooked on an open grill. It can be rather noisy when full, and on some evenings there is live music (a single artist or a small group, often Spanish style), so you need to be careful with what sort of atmosphere you prefer. Nice location up in the hills above La Cala, with a nice terrace with mountain views.
Note that this is the same restaurant as "El Jinete", No. 9 (at present) in La Cala, which has fewer reviews: they should be combined.
