Crowne Plaza Hotel Brussels - Le Palace

This was a great home base to explore Brussels. While not in the city center, it was a close enough walk (about 15 minutes) to be accessible, while not over-crowded.

As a Priority Club platinum member, we were upgraded to the club floor. Lots of "freebies" in the room, including beer and soft drinks in the fridge, some delicious speculoos cookies, and Godiva pillow chocolates. Also, some very nice aromatherapy sprays! The room wasn't overly large, but it was adequate, and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is an easy 7-minute walk to the North train station (just a straight shot up a fairly major street). It's next to the botanical gardens, and the Rogiers metro stop (which is under construction right now, so a little more difficult to use than it normally would be). That said, we walked most everywhere, since Brussels is a very walkable city.

For restaurant close-by, there was a nice selection along Blvd Adolphe Max, just a couple minute's walk. We enjoyed the Brasserie Meat Me for good steak and wine and a reasonable price.

If there is any downside to the hotel, I'd say that the staff wasn't particularly warm. They were by no means rude, but there was not a lot of interaction beyond the necessities of checking in and checking out.

If we find ourselves in Brussels again, we would return!

Superb hotel with perks provided as an Elite priority points member - like a room on the 7th floor, free drinks at the bar and in the minibar (topped up daily). The room was spacious and very clean with a nice wooden floor and nespresso coffee machine (pods supplied) large mounted flat screen TV with free wifi. The breakfast was bountiful with a superb choice of fresh juices from the usual ie raspberry, kiwi and apple, melon and grape..etc and the freshly made coffee was delicious. Overall I would recommend this hotel for any stay whilst visiting Brussels, good location for the metro, shops and nice walks around the city.

Room Tip: The 7th floor has a "quiet zone"

Stayed here for almost 4 nights, nice property lavish breakfast, close to Noord train station, and also right across the main shopping street. Smart TV's in rooms helps streams videos online. Reception does gets busy at times but managed well.

Spent 5 nights in this hotel for business.
Rooms are quite small and dark. You cannot open the window due to the noise from the environment.
Food is good but breakfast was way too hectic and crowded.
There is a public underground parking around the corne which is not convenient if you arrive late in the evening, given the neighbourhood.
This place must have been great in its glory times. It has been renovated but not thorough enough to shine again...

Booked this hotel based on a friend's recommendation. Rooms were good size, big bathrooom, all very clean. Free bottled water every day. Booking in advance with breakfast for two only cost $120/day.Where do you find that kind of rate in a major capital city! Breakfast had lots of choices, plenty of fresh fruit. Good coffee. Walking distance to shopping. About 15 minutes' walk to Grand Place. Five minute walk from North Station (Gare NOrd). Very convenient for airport train and day trips to Bruges and Ghent. No decent restaurants in immediate neighborhood. For dinner, it's a 12-15 minute walk to Place Sainte-Catherine, where there's an unlimited choice of restaurants specializing in seafood

Room Tip: Early booking online with advance purchase is a true bargain. The treat IHG Priority members very we...

Old, but nice hotel. Really comfortable beds. A short walk to the city center, lots of shops on the way. It was very clean. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The wifi wasn't great. We watched some World Cup matches in the bar, and they didn't offer any food for the later matches.
