Hotel BLOOM!

Actually, I was a little desapointed because my reservation was not correctly recorded but the receptionnist arranged it on my arrival.

I also wanted a room with 3 single beds ( 1 mother with her 2 daugthers) but only 2 beds available..), peinting on walls were not really nice, were expected nice ones saw on website.., The bath tub was not really clean.. and nothing available at the "Botanic".. Also desapointed bcoz of blocked road, nothing very near..

Reception, breakfast and restaurant/bar: were all very nice.

Hotel Bloom is close to an underground for travel which is needed as it is some distance from the city center, maybe 20 mins fast walk. 40 mins amble. There is a nice botanical garden next door. The staff was most helpful, the room was large, clean, bright and artsy and it was pleasant to stay here. Good, free wifi. sadly the breakfast has to be paid for and is not cheap, I would stay here again if this were to be different.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the city side and high up for a decent view.

My husband and I booked the hotel bloom 2 days before we arrived in Brussels last year, as a very last minute honeymoon. I had read the reviews and decided it sounded comfortable and exactly the kind of thing we were after for our short stay.
We loved it!
The decor was unique, and so individual. The rooms were obscenely massive for what we paid, and the addition of a coffee machine in the room was great, and unexpected.
I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this hotel apart from the fact that despite excessive mentioning of the fact we were on our honeymoon we didnt get an upgrade, or anything free!!!! Only joking, although we did try. :)
A truely fabulous stay, and would definitely return.

We were a little apprehensive as we travelled in the taxi from Central Station to the Hotel Bloom, the streets appeared very run down and tired.

However, once we opened the door to Room 806 our apprehension disappeared. The room was huge - large sitting room, large bedroom, amazing bathroom. The room had been designed by an Amsterdam decorator and it was stunning. Airy, light, exciting and enjoyable. We basically decided to spend our three days in Brussels it the room - and did I mention the coffee machine?

The cost was less than we had paid in other European cities. We bought our breakfast from a little pastry shop in the next street and enjoyed the treats from the supermarket opposite. We can highly recommend Hotel Bloom - as long as you stay in Room 806.

Stayed here for 1 night for work. The decor is quite OK. Check in was efficient and friendly. The room was quite large and generally quite nice. They provided tea & coffee in the room, but they could have provided a greater selection of teas. Bathroom OK. Wifi worked well. Adjacent restaurant was fine, had a nice salad menu but would have been nice to see more healthy fruit on the menu (although they did give me a free banana from the kitchen - so very nice customer service). Breakfast was very good. I would say this hotel is average for its rooms, but customer service and breakfast, and good wifi mean that I'd rate it very good.

I was at the hotel for two nights for a business meeting. Arrived late evening, reception was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful to suit all tastes (cereal, pastries, cooked meats), bar area good (good selection of brands and music), able to watch world cup football. No room service, however there are a selection of food/ drink items available by reception.

Room 737 - big room, comfy bed, fridge, coffee machine tech was cool, nice views of the Botanical Gardens at the side/ back of the hotel, big tv, free wifi, well let rooms

My colleague was in Room 731 - he was woken up by the roadworks at the front of the hotel quite early and his room was not as big. I think we may have had different rate selections though.

Location - close to restuarants and metro, suggest you walk over to the Titanic restuarant which was nice, friendly, food good standard, reasonable prices (near the lone soildier statue), restuarants near the hotel/ Hilton-Sheraton area were not as good quality

Excellent design hotel, close to the city centre and North Train Station (good for the airport link) Staff were friendly and helpful, Nespresso machine and bath/shower combo a nice touch and nice smellies in bathroom too! Great experience at a budget price - didnt have breakfast as its 25 euros!!!! but a great shop across the st does fresh pastries and OJ - bar was also pretty pricey but overall a great value hotel.

Thanks a lot for the 5 star rating! We are sure you would give our breakfast 5 stars as well as it is a huge buffet with lots of choice and you can make your own Belgian waffles in our waffle van! Book directly via our website and you can get it only 15 euro. Have a great day.
