Booked here after reading the reviews on here and was not disappointed.

The check-in staff 'Hot & Spicy' (the name on his name badge!) was a very friendly and helpful member of staff. He pointed out the areas of interest as well as the modes of transport we'd need during our stay. All of this was written onto a local map.

We'd purchased a 3 day travelcard for 11 euros each, which meant we were able to travel free to travel on the Metro, Tram & Bus for the entirety of our trip. Definitely worth it! Bear in mind that you can not purchase this with notes from the machines at the station, you will require coins or credit/debit cards.

The location of the hotel is around 15 mins walk from the centre of Brussels i.e. the Grand Place, which is perfectly fine. It's accessible by Metro in about 10 mins. The closest station is Botanique and the hotel is about a 2 minute walk from there.

Don't bother purchasing any food/drink from the hotel as there's a supermarket across the road that sells everything you'll need.

The complimentary water and coffee in the room was much appreciated. The front desk even ordered us pizza one evening as most of the restaurants close on a Sunday and it had snowed heavily that day which meant we didn't want to venture out too far.

The downstairs bar was nice if a bit pricey, but so is everything in Brussels!

The room was big and clean, nothing more, I would stay here again.

This hotel is very stylish; with indiviually commissioned murals in the bedrooms, and a lively bar/restuarant. Friendly multi-lingual staff.
Rooms are a good size, well appointed (free tea/coffee machine, free water) and bathrooms feature bath and shower. Very nice modern furniture.
Breakfast is extensive, with hot and cold dishes, juices, smoothies, tea, coffee - even a waffle machine! Large, bright airy breakfast room.
Rooms seem to have quite thin walls though, and we could hear next-door quite audibly. Bathroom has a permanently-on fan, which while not noisy is a low hum and which became a bit intrusive at night. We were also situated right next to the lifts - in spite of specifically requesting a quiet room AWAY from lift machinery in our booking.
Good location, only a short walk from the Metro (at Botanique, Lines 2 and 6) and with a tram stop almost outside. There is a supermarket and Pharmacy across the road. Not great for restaurants,in the area, though the Bar/restaurant in the hotel serves good food at a reasonable price if you don't want to go into the City Centre.

Room Tip: Specify a quiet room - although that did us no good! All rooms have the low-hum of the ventilation.

I didn't have a choice of hotel; it was selected by the organization that booked my stay. Although the room was pleasant with great lighting, wifi, and workspace, the mind-numbing noise from the hipper-than-thou bar/restaurant (reaching all the way up to the 3rd floor) is a deal-breaker and I would not stay there again. While on the subject, the hipper-than-thou bar/restaurant is too small to service a hotel of this size and too hip to seat a single business traveler anywhere other than the 3-seat bar during the premium dinner hour. This would not be a problem if the neighborhood offered other options, but the neighborhood is not great and I saw only one other restaurant in the surrounding area. If you want to (1) sleep and (2) eat dinner in peace and quiet, stay elsewhere.

I recommend it! Great room, new and modern design, great fitness center. The location is not perfect, we had to walk a little distance to the interesting places. The restaurant inside it is quite modern and beautiful, but very expensive for what it serves, I had the most expensive chicken ever!

It is very lovely to hear that you had a great stay at BLOOM!. We are however a bit surprised you found the menu expensive as we have very affordable prices compared to the rest of the restaurants in Brussels.

We hope to see you soon!

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, we found it extremely easily as it is just to the right when you come out of the metro station , it is well signed and give a really good first impression. Check in was quick and easy and the hotel lobby is beautiful with artwork in one corner with hanging chairs.

You have to use your key card to operate the lift going up to prevent non guests roaming the hotel.

On entering our room (741) we were amazed. It was a large spacious room with a king size bed. The views were fantastic overlooking brussels and the botanic gardens. The art work was fascinating although when first looking at it we were unsure what to make of it but it had details of the artist with the meaning of the painting, which once we knew the painting took on a whole new interpretation and we fell in love with it as each time you looked at it you found a new meaning . The room was very modern with stylish curtains and lamps. We also had a senseo machine with tea and coffee. We used the hot water from it as we took our own hot chocolate. There was also a fridge with 2 free bottles of water.

The bathroom was really modern with a funky sink and all the toiletries matched with a fun design. Shower was good and the cleanliness of the whole room was perfect. We liked the fact that if you didn't want your room cleaned they gave you a €5 voucher for snoods restaurant!!

Snoods looked like a funky fun place to hang out but was probably the hotels main downfall as it didn't open till 10pm so we would go out for tea instead of waiting till then.

If travelling by eurostar, you can buy a day, 2 day or 3 day ticket for the metro that can also be used on the tram and buses. We paid €13 each for a 3 day ticket which we thought was fantastic value. From gare midi follow the signs for metro 2 and 6 that take you directly to the hotel. The transport is really easy to negotiate after you learn the basics!!

Overall a fantastic location to get around the city. A superb funky hotel. Would definitely use again if we ever return to Brussels.
