Very nice hotel quite close to Rue Neuve and the Grand Place. I had a nice double room for myself. Pleasant staff in reception and breakfast excellent. A little noisey as my room was almost opposite police station and there was quite a lot of movement. However, had a very enjoyable one night stay and the price was extremely reasonable.

Room Tip: Suggest perhaps a room at back or side of hotel as quite a lot of traffic.

Staff at this hotel was helpful and smiling. Breakfast was great. Location was ok (close to train station and downtown). But the rooms are very basic and small, but clean.

This Hotel is very convenient to me, because I don't like to stay in, but I like to travel to
other destinations. It is very close 10 min. walk to North Brussells Rail Station from where is
a lot of possibilities to board the trains to any direction. Belgium trains and their timetables
are great. When I return I don't expect extra luxury from the Hotel, but to take the shower
and sleep. This Hotel complies to my expectations.

This hotel is surprisingly close to shopping areas (City 2), Rogier area and North railway station. Standard room was small, but it was comfortable. Bathroom was big. I did not like bath, since I prefer shower. Breakfast was good considering the price level of the hotel.

right now there are at least 5 drunken loud men outside our window at 2 am. a call to the reception got nowhere. between the dodgy side of town and the fact that this is nowhere near where we thought/wanted to be, not coming here again. just because it says city centre doesn't mean it's true.

Average hotel with the basic comforts you would expect from a 3 star European hotel. Hotel has a good location, friendly staff and decent value for your Euro. No complaints.

so I don't normally write reviews, but based on what I read vs my experience I thought I should leave my 2cents. The room was just fine, newly renovated, had all the normal stuff, beds where clean, bathroom clean, wifi, etc. More than what I expected, stayed in way worse for 3x the price in Paris and London. Getting here from Brussels-Nord station is a bit of an eye opener, but it is a quick walk and had no problems. People doing their own thing and no one bothered us or approached us, not like major train stations in Paris. If you are worried then get off at Central and walk its not that far. As for directions to town, it is a 10 minute walk but you are not paying for a hotel in Grand Place. Don't head back towards the train station to get there though. No reason to go back into the red light district. From the hotel turn left (away from the Nord Station), onto Bld Saint-Lazare, this goes under a well lit, clean, safe underpass, this turns into Bld Pacheco, you now in front of the National bank in a very clean business district. After a few blocks turn right and you are in Grand Place, follow the signs. Easy, safe walk. Had an amazing time in Brussels, great food, amazing beer, and good people. Enjoy your stay we sure did! Would definately return to Brussels.
