We left our hotel to search for a place to eat and about a five minute walk from the hotel we found this restaurant in a small side street. Upon returning to our hotel, I checked on TA and found that there were several reviews for this great place.
Starter of Vegetable soup and my main of a traditional pork dish was followed by a desert of small doughnuts and pineapple. The guvenor had the same start but opted for a beef special, which beat her for the amount on the plate. Her desert was a Creme Caramal. The restauarant owner also gave us the usual started of cheese & olives, also a small fried aperitive, which tased like chicken, so I expect squid or the like.. very nice though. Drinks were a very decent bottle of White, Planalto, followed by complementary glasses of port and coffee. The total bill was only 60 euros, which was excellent value.
WE will pay another visit during our stay.
