The location and stuff are great! Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is good. First we had a room at the ground floor and the room did a little bit smell like smoke. Later we got a good room at the 2nd floor. There are a few metro stations close and you walk in 10 minutes to the city center. A good value for this price!

We were a little anxious because of the price but the hotel surpassed our expectation! Yes, the room was quite small but very comfortable and the whole hotel is super clean. The bathroom was very beautiful and again spotless . The personal is nice and helpful, you feel at home. Nice breakfast and the hotel has a small interior garden for relaxing after a busy day! Location in a quite neiborhood and the metro station is at five minutes walk, but if you want to walk in the center of Porto it's really close, a fifteen minutes walk. A very good surprise and don' be afraid to stay at this hotel.

This hotel is One star but should be more, very friendly and very clean. Yes the rooms are small but all you need it for is sleeping, there was sufficent storage as well, and if you need a bigger room you may need to pay more! The buffet breakfast included orange juice, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, rolls, ham, cheese, tomato, honey, jams, cake, different teas and coffees, it was great. If people get bored with the same thing every day can I suggest they pay more and go to a five star hotel! The staff were helpfull and their English was fairly good. It is slightly out of the centre but there is a metro stop round the corner and the metro is really easy to use. The centre is still withing walking distance and it is all downhill!

Room Tip: We were on the top floor just over the hotel door. We did not use the air conditioning but kept the...

The Hotel is conviently located a short 15 - 20 minute walk to the river . It a little rundown but basicly clean and very good value . Breakfast is good and staff very friendly and helpful.
We stayed twice on our Portugal holiday the first time our room was overlooking the side street on the first floor it was relarively quiteand good .But on the second visit we had a room at the back and were kept awake all night by the constant noise of the seagulls and cats . ( and one night a smoke alarm!) Non of that quaint fishing village seagull background sound but full concophony .!! they are in plague proportions ..Alfred Hitchcock could have filmed or based "The Birds " on this place.
We found good eateries in the back streets not too far away .

Room Tip: Ask (demand ) a room facing the side street . (see above ) . Good place to pick up a hre car as u...

Well situated hotel - 3 mins of walk from Faria Guimaraes Metro station and 10 mins of walk from Metro hub Trindade. Supermarkets (Froiz and Pingo Doce) and restaurants in nearby areas of Trindade or Marques. Very helpful staff, the rooms and the entire hotel was perfectly clean. Nice "family atmosfere". Simple equipment of the hotel rooms, but nice and comfortable. There is perfectly working Air-con in the rooms and also the hotel is covered with the free WiFi. The breakfast was surprising, good selection of nice food for only 2,5 Euros!!! Will definitelly go back again!

Room Tip: Try to avoid the room, which is next to the reception - it can be noisy (but with the best quality o...

Couple with a 10month old baby. We stayed there 5nights.

We had a very good stay in this hotel.
The hotel is not very central but just next to the tube station so perfectly fine. You can also walk to the center.
It is clean and they clean the room every day.
It has a bath which is conveniont when travelling with a baby.
It is a cheap hotel so do not expect luxoury but it is good for this money.
Very nice breakfast. Very kind waiter. We could also use a kitchen to boil a water or clean baby stuff.
Nice helpful staff.
A small grocery just across the street.

Weaknesses:
- you smell some of cigaretes in the floor in a non-smoking part of the hotel (not a big problem)
- the double room was not too big for 3 of us but for a couple is enough
- we got a room on the groundfloor so we do not have to carry a babytrolley but you have windows to the street which is not a problem, you get used to it very quickly but there is no a special view from the window.
- you hear neighbours going to the bathroom

These all points are facts but for us it was not a problem. I am a pretty light sleeper but the window to the street ets were no problem to me.
