Attracted to restaurant by its lovely position on the river and its outdoor seating. Food was not great though and my fish was quite poor. What upset us was getting the bill- at the start of the meal they just put down about 4 extra dishes, like fish balls, bread, cheese, olives etc. Now I found that in Porto restaurants often do this and add on a 2 euro charge, like a cover charge (although not all do). But when we got the bill, these items, which we had not asked for and some of it not even touched, almost doubled the bill! I felt embarrassed arguing this as we were surrounded by other diners and my Portuguese only stretches to a few limited sentences so we just paid and left. It was a shame as every other venue we visited in Porto was good value and had excellent service, but we found this place to be very different from the others.
