My friend and I were looking for a place to eat; we had been walking around for a while when we looked up a tiny street and saw this place. It looked friendly and inviting from the outside and when we went in we were not disappointed. It feels like sitting a a restaurant carved into the walls of the city, very cosy and great atmosphere. The staff were extremly friendly and translated the menu for us, all the food was amazing and the wine was very cheap and delicious. All in all a very memorable evening and highly recommended. Thank you

This was the best restaurant we visited in Porto. It is located in a small street and it is not a place you drop in. You have to know about it .It was a good choice. The service was top and they spoke English so we got good information about the food and the wine. The food was Poruguese and very good. The desserts you simply have to try. The local was very special and created a good atmosphere. I will absolutely recommend this restaurant.

We went to this restaurant as one of my friends recommended it and we're very pleased. It was more expensive than we're used to here but worth it. Main dishes were between 8 and 12€. The service was best that I've got in Porto, a very friendly guy who spoke perfect english and helped us decide when we asked for it. The food was also very good, looked nice and had a lot more taste than most food in Porto.
Also we loved the atmosphere, it was stylish but cozy and felt really good.

I would recommend this restaurant for sure.

I went there with a group of 30 people. Everybody liked the restaurant!
The food was amazing, typical poruguise food. The staff were ever so helpful and very friendly. We sat upstairs and had the room for ourselves. The interior is really nice.
I will certainly recommend the restaurant to anybody.

We passed around and decided to have dinner there because the restaurant seems to be very beautiful, charming and cozy, and it is.
We ordered lam dishes and they were delicious, others were quite normal. We also ordered cheese but the quantity was quite small. In general all overpriced.
We were offered to try the Oporto wine which we thought it was complementary, but it wasn’t. Each small cup cost almost four Euros.
To sum up, some dishes were ok, others normal, but all overpriced. It is not a place I would recommend. For that price you can dinner better in other place.

Our response to our clientes is that we have a new management since December 2012.
The beautiful space and the kind of typical food maintains the same but the owners changed.

We open when hunger strikes, for lunch and dinner.
At night our doors stay open as long as there is a good atmosphere and close friends.
Every day we serve delicious Terylene sandwiches from our wood fired oven and small plates of assorted vernacular (inspired) delicacies, preferably to the sound of our piano.
We are usually closed Sunday and Monday at lunch time.

We invite you to taste the change.

Kind Regards,
Flor
