Owner description: Clérigos Tower is the foremost undisputed landmark of Porto and a reference in the city's history. Clérigos Tower opened its doors in 1763, becoming the highest bell tower of Portugal, with over 75 metres. In 1753 the Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni was invited to design and build this magnificent Heritage, considered National Monument since 1910. The famous church was built in the eighteenth century, between 1732 and 1749 and this was the most emblematic work of the architect Nicolau Nasoni. Is one of the most beautiful temples of baroque feature, and a reference in the history of Porto. The Exhibitions allow to discover the history of the Brotherhood of Clérigos, admire pieces from the eighteenth to the nineteenth century, in painting, furniture, jewellery and vestment collections. Christus collection, on the 3 floor, is a trip through time and space where art and religion complement each other.

Endless winding stairs leads to the top of this tower where spectacular views of the entire city can be had. Definitely worth it and costs very little. Bring your camera!

It give you great views of the city. It's a 5-10 minute climb to the top, but worth it. narrow steps to take but worth the 2 euro entry fee. But you will get better views from the Dom Louis I bridge

it will cost you 2 EUR to climb the tower and narrow staircase is sometimes jammed as both those climbing up and going down are using it. If you are fit to climb, do that. View of the town is great.

197 stairs on spiral staircase to the top. Not well lit in all parts. Great views if you can stand on one of the steps in the middle of each side at the top. Two Euro admission to the tower. No admission cost for church.

This was a fun climb up 6 stories of a very narrow winding staircase to a great view out over the city. I believe it cost 2 Euros pp.
