“Always taken care of..”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

This place always looks beautiful and the gardens are always taken care of (either is Winter or Spring).

If you don't have an exact date to travel there always check the museum site so you can keep up with the expositions they have so you can catch a nice one!

And don't forget that if you go Sunday morning you don't pay anything (or if you are a college student - as long as you show your student id)

“Wonderful museum”
Reviewed January 26, 2014 via mobile

Wonderful museum in a lovely park. Due to the bad weather we focused on the museum, which is free on Sunday mornings. We loved this: lots of other families with children, and museum staff are extremely accomodating to yiung visitors. Are you more into a quiet visit, another time might be best. The building in beautiful and we loved several of the exhibitions there. Bus 23 from the Casa de Musica gets you to right in front of the museum.

Thank Anne-Marijke

“Fantastic museum in a fantastic location”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

If you like modern art this is the place to go in Porto. All exhibitions are normally of very high quality and the building is worth the visit alone. Designed by Siza Vieira it has incredible details that will make you wonder. Check the narrow corridors that end in a burst of light.
After you check the collections please visit the huge gardens that are as nice to see as the museum itself.

Great place.

“A Fine Temporary Cildo Meireles Exhibit”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

Several weeks ago,I was fortunate enough to visit this fine,Contemporary Art Museum with gorgeous landscaping. It is well-serviced by buses from the Casa da Musica Metro Station, even though it is away from the heart of Porto.I only saw the temporary Cildo Meireles exhibit, because the other temporary exhibits were not on display yet.I especially enjoyed the following creations by this Contemporary Brazilian artist;"Surge of the Sea","USA Ants",and"Amerika".I also liked the small farm on the premises.I spent about 3 hours on the premises of this institution.
