We enjoyed a full dining experience here with a couple of bab seniors and we fully enjoyed the experience. Set in a nice little square in Porto (there aren't many as Porto is becoming somewhat of a run down hell hole), Camafeu is set up the stairs in an old restored building. The restaurant is absolutely picture perfect. Candle lit atmosphere, nice appropriate classical music playing and lovely dark wood tables and white table dressings. It is delightful.
We had starters of scallops which were tender, juicy, meaty and delicious. They were perfectly cooked and having had some pretty rubbery scallops in the past, pushing these past my open lips was a treat.
We had both fish and steak main courses, all of which were cooked perfectly to order and I simply could not fault any of it.
Desserts were delicious too.
We had red and white wines to accompany and the dinner was faultless. Highly enjoyable and if in Porto I would go back.
