The main benefit of this hotel is the central location. The shops and the Douro river are within walking distance and there are buses and a metro station near by. The hotel itself is clean, the rooms are comfortable and you get all that is expected from a chain hotel. The breakfast was ok with adequate variety of pastries, cereal, eggs, sausages etc. Staff was polite with the exception of one receptionist who was a bit rude but when you find yourself in portugal you might notice that some people appear rude (i think it might be a cultural diff/language barrier). Overall a good stay!

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors are better!

My brother stayed there last year, we were travelling in Portugal, on a bus to Porto that had wifi ..we were able to book a room and what a good choice, the hotel is minutes from the bus station and the train...it is close to many attractions like the Majestic cafe ....and so much more...the staff was amazing...so friendly, so willing to help answer all our questions. after check in we walked around , there were lots of cafes and places to have a glass of port . we only had one day, the next day breakfast was just what we needed, and hotel staff were glad to provide info to help us make the best of the day...we were also able to leave our luggage , which made the day perfect...planning to visit Porto ? do yourself a favor...stay here ...

We stayed for just one night as we were in town for a Mariza (fado singer) concert at the Coliseum. We chose this hotel because it is just a block and a half away from the Coliseum. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was large, beautifully decorated, noise-insulated and the bed was most comfortable. The room comes with an electric kettle so you can have an early cup of coffee or tea. The bathroom was large, with shower/bathtub. Breakfast was a very abundant and varied buffet. The total cost (through Rumbo.com) was just 63 euros!

first class hotel
first class hotel staff from the receptionist to the room maids all polite and respectfull

Hotel is in a perfect location for the fit traveller as with all hotels in Porto there is a hill to climb.
This hotel is serviced by the ''tour buses' which are of good value and worth the experence.

Receptionist that I had the pleasure of dealing with was more that helpful and each time I came in or or out she always found time to acknowledge.

Room Tip: all rooms at the front of the hotel are ok
