“Historic and great to get to local places”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

Very interesting, busy location. Some great architecture and well worth a look around. Take a look at the local train routes and bus routes for some interesting trips.

“Impressive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

Well worth a visit. The blue and whaite tiles are all painted by hand individually, then fired and numbered so that they can be reassembled on the walls. They depict Portugese history and are very well executed. Impressive!

“Ice Cream”

I know the location has historical significance but we kept visiting for one reason only - the little ice cream stall tucked away inside.

“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

The Sao Bento train station in Oporto is well worth a visit. If you are heading down the hill to the waterfront by foot, or by metro, stop at the station to see the beautiful tile art work. It truly is an amazing site where you can view a history of the city and life in Portugal on the walls of the entrance of the station.
