Sometimes when you are travelling it is easy not to pay attention to some beautiful things, especially if you are taking care of your luggage. This is why I recommend you to visit this train station without your luggage in order to admire the great tile panels inside.

We took a rail trip up the Douro and started at Sao Bento. What a lovely place with all the facilities you could wish for. Worth visiting even if you don't need to catch a train..

Me and my wife we visited Sao Bento Station yesterday. Simply amazing, an ex libris in this beautifull city of Oporto.
The Station is just outside our Hotel, in avenida dos aliados, we decided to take a walk. Also juts a few metters away is the Se cathedral and down the street you will find Ribeira.
The city is unforgetabble. We will stay a couple of weeks so we are thinking of journey outside the city to know a little bit more of this region of Portugal!

The railway concourse of this station is decorated in blue and white azuleros (ceramic tiles) and is worth going to see, whether or not you have a train to catch
