Owner description: PLEASE BOOK TO OUR E-MAIL TILL 10PM OF THE DAY BEFORE THE TOUR Portofreetour guides are not professional tour guides but enthusiastic, friendly individuals with knowledge of Porto who will accompany you on a visit of the city, take advantage of their passion and discover hidden, unusual places off the tourist trail. Together we designed a few "caminhos" through our city, giving you a glimpse of what Invicta's all about. Zigzagging between past, present and potential futures, we try to give an insight into our hometown that will enable you to understand and enjoy it evermore. Our visits are simple and friendly : we try to limit our tours to 6 people maximum, so you can get to sightsee without the crowd, we also like to have a small break (Porto's hilly), to chill out and chat, no rush we're in Portugal. Average tour duration : 2h or 3hTime : 10/11am or 2/3pm

“A wonderful way to experience the history of Porto with a local.”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

We took this tour to see Porto old city with a local. We walked to the meeting spot from our hotel the grand porto and took off with three young ladies from Spain. Porto is quite hilly so good walking ability is a must but you will be rewarded with a wonderful walking taking tour with a short stop for refreshments...wished we could have eaten there too the food looked fresh and plentiful. Payment is by donation please be generous as this is a great personal way to experience this city which is fast becoming a visit hotspot.

“Consider another option.”
Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

Our guide met us on time, was audible, fun and didn't mind questions. However the tour only did 2-3 of the main sites and took 4 HOURS (11-3). After 1 hour we stopped at a bar for a drink but then the guide proceeded to spend over an hour marking up everyones maps with the same information. This should be done at the end instead of making everyone wait. Big waste of time. So the tour runs over lunch time and we were starving at the end as it was far too long.

“Very nice city tour”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

Before taking the city tour we already visited Porto for two days and saw the main attractions. On the third day our guide Andre expexted us and we told him this fact. Because of that he guided us through the city and showed us placed we wouldn't have expected to be seen. We heard intereasting details about the history and saw were the locals spend their time and how they do this. In fact one of the best tour i ever had. The tour lasted for about two hours and in the middle there was a short break in a local snack bar. Absolutely recommandable!!!

“Great way to see Porto”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

This is a great way to see Porto. Our guide Andre was very nice! He showed us the places that we hardly would find by ourselves in 3 days, gave a lot of useful tips. It was amazing!
Thank you, Andre! It was very nice to meet you and Catarina!
