Good value for money €22 for 2 days. Include 6 bridges boat cruise and visit of Calem Port cellar. Cruise + cellar can be done after 2 days.

A group of 9 of us went on the Yellow Bus Tour whilst in Oporto on a cruise. It cost E9 per person (allegedly a 'group discount' but I think more likely just undercutting the Blue Bus guy who'd told us his was E10 pp!) and we certainly got value for money as we were on the bus for a good couple of hours and went both sides of the River Duoro. I notice a previous review said the buses were infrequent, and I agree, we didn't see many other Yellow Buses, but as we didn't get off it wasn't as much of a problem for us. Take your own headphones for comfort as the commentary is worth listening to (the incidental music gets a little repetitve though!)
The only complaint I have is that the seats, whilst appearing to be dry, obviously retain water, as we all found we had soggy bums when we got up! As it was a sunny day we dried off quickly enough, but it wasn't an ideal situation!

Waiting time at least 40 minutes for buses. If you want a tour of the City by Yellow buses then stay on the bus or you will be stranded. Instead, I recommend you take the Red Bus - they have more buses and are frequent.

Yellow Bus waiting time is frustrating.

on our first day in Portugal we used the Yellow Bus Tour to find our way around Porto, we were brought along the city shown all the major tourist attractions in the city and it was a great way of seeing everything the city has to offer. We were able to go visit things during the week which we seen and liked from the bus tour. Value for money.

We bought the two-day tickets, which allowed us on and off privileges for two full days, including access to the city buses (but not the metro). The two routes we had access to--historical Porto and Porto castles--allowed us to see most of the downtown areas, in addition to Vila Nova de Gaia and Matosinhos, and gave us an idea of what we wanted to return to and explore at greater length. We were fortunate to have a stop at the end of our block (we'd rented an apartment for several days). The drawbacks are that the Porto castles route runs only once per hour, which means on occasion a lengthy wait for the bus if you've not timed your visit to a site right, and the fact that the buses start their last circuit around 6 p.m., which cuts the touring day short.
