Hotel is in very good localisation, room was nice and the view from the window was fantastic(we get upgrade to suite and this was very nice), Hotel is under renovation now and You can see a lot of work that is planned to improve the comfort.
Unfortunately during our stay the roof top restaurant was not working but I think this is beautiful place to spend evening.
Please think about pricing in Your bar because You offer small portion of Porto but price is doubled then bar next to hotel. I would like to spend more evenings in hotel bar but after one visit I decided to go outside.

Just back from 3 nights

Booked on room only so can’t comment on food. But room and bathroom are of high quality

Staff are very friendly too. Decent location near to restaurants and bars

Definitely worth considering

We booked into the Mercure centro in Porto at the last minute due to not being able to get to Maderia for our holiday there. It is a great location, really central to most of Porto. The room is marvellous, we were upgraded to what seems like a suite! The room is clean and airy, windows open fully and there are sliding shutters if you want to block out the light. The TV is big enough even I can see it! On top of that when my husband was taken ill in the middle of the first night they calmly arranged for a doctor, taxis and everything else we needed. I am so impressed and thankful, they have rescued what has been a nightmare holiday thanks to easyJet.

Basic hotel at the back of the station. Smallish rooms well decorated. Our stay was ruined by teenagers drinking and socialising in the corridor at .... on the sixth floor there is a common area. ..5am till 7am!

Central location but it is in a run down square which seems to have seen better days. We spent one night and it was adequate. Nice attentive staff but average hotel
