after santiago(second) and bufete fase (first) this is the third best place to eat a francesinha but you also have plenty of other options to try in this restaurant and lots of tables and space,..

“For us the best "francesinha"”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

We've decided to re-visit Cufra for a francesinha. We've eat some shrimps first (fresh) and the regular francesinha. Spicy but well tasted. The drinks are very expensive (a 200ml coke for 2€). Probably there are best francesinhas in other spots, but will be back for sure. Slow service... Other foods look's very tasty also.

“one of the most famous restaurants to have a "francesinha"”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

when you are talking about "francesinhas" (Porto´s traditional dish), this is will be one of the spoken options. There´s also other options, meat or seafood, but Francesinha is what make this restaurant well known, and there´s a few option of Francesinha with different ingredients.

To me, be famous doens´t mean be the best, but for sure you will not be dissapointed.

“An excellent place to try typical food”
Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

My experience was just great, Starting with the weiter Mr. Campino, such a nice Sir, always smiling and taking care about every datails. Second thing taste the home make red wine, was just great. Then the food, you must try Feijoada, a meat stew with kidney or butter beans, is a dish popular throughout Portugal. So tasty, not salty the perfect taste served qith rice. Additionally a meet with pineapple called tropical whatever, was so delicious. This place must be visit going to Porto. Just number one.

“Very good for a Francezinha or a "light" meal”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

This is the place for an evening meal, either a typical Francezinha or a steak (especially the pepper one) or seafood. So instead of a big dinner or before an event such as a football match this is the place to go. Quite traditional food and atmosphere and the staff very friendly. Do not forget in oporto they use different words and meanings from Lisbon and the south. A draft beer in Lisbon is "Imperial" and here is "fino" or "principe".
