Great ingredients! Well cooked! Amazing prices. I just wish we had a restaurant like this one in Lisbon! I'll be back this week for sure!

“Well worth the trek”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2012

Just had a wonderful meal at Bugo Art Burgers and highly recommend it. We called ahead for reservations for 9:30, but found the restaurant only half-full when we arrived (this was Monday--reservations might be more essential later in the week). The menu is exciting, consisting of creative and intriguing variations on the "basic" burger (in this case, free-range beef and chicken)--we had the "porto y serra," the "bread burger," the "stuffed brik burger," and the "salmon burger." We also had a very nice, reasonably priced Douro vinho tinto. The presentation was great, the food very satisfying, the service wonderful. We spent a bit less than 60 euros for four people (with a bottle of wine and two "principes" of beer). The space itself is very modern--white walls, sliding panels that when closed hide things like wait stations, original art on the walls, sufficiently few tables to allow for an intimate feel to the room. If ever we find ourselves in Porto I'd certainly head here!

“I was expecting more”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2012

The presentation of the dishes were nice, the taste was there too but on the day of my visit the freshness of the ingredients were out. Perhaps it wasn't a good day, I'll go there once again just to check it out .

“Make a difference”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2012

It has different burger and well served.

Welcoming space sometimes becomes small because it is often have groups!
Young team, permissive to alterations to the menu.
It is necessary to have reserves, otherwise may not have the table and they do not facilitate.

“Least favorite meal in Portugal”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2012

My husband and I wanted something relatively close to our hotel. BUGO was rated high, so we thought we would try it. We ordered a beef burger, medium-rare. If you ever went to a large school or scouts outing and had one of those burgers from the huge frozen cardboard box, then you know what the consistency of this burger was like. It came within 2 minutes of us ordering it, so I am convinced it was microwaved.
