It is important to go there for lunch. I tried creme de marisco (seafood soup - istiridye ve "crab" çorbası) it was ok . Then , Avelino suggested lulas grelhadas (grilled squids - ızgara kalamar )
You have to tell them you want it juicy it came perfect , maybe just a little bit salty but still it was extremely good, as a side dish it comes with red and white cabbage, saute fresh green beans with garlic, potatoes. These two dishes were more than enough, soup was 6€ and squids (see the picture below) 12.50 €. You must tell the waiter no bread and no water so they do not charge nothing extra as some customers wrote that even though they did not touch the bread they were charged 3€. Well, if something comes to the table then you cannot return it. I also gave tip since Jorge (the waiter) & Avelino were very nice to me ersin ozugurlu , İstanbul, Türkiye, İstanbul Technical University, coming to Porto as Erasmus Teaching Mobility Program Professor.
