Great location near to all that we planned to do in Porto. The room was large, comfortable and had a great bed. We noted from other TA reviews that some rooms only had a tub so were sure to request a room with a shower in advance and were accommodated. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and included sparkling wine--a welcome sight if you've had a bit too much port wine the evening before.

Room Tip: We noted from other TA reviews that some rooms only had a tub so were sure to request a room with a shower in advance and were accommodated.

This hotel probably isn't for everyone, but we loved it. Great location, really easy (and cheap) transfer from the airport using the Metro and central for everything in Porto. The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming… our room was ready despite us arriving hours before check-in with champagne and cake in the room for my birthday.
The common areas in the hotel are dark, but I thought it was fun! The room was large for a city hotel, with an amazingly comfy bed and fantastic shower. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection… although if I'm being picky, the tea wasn't great!
All in all, we can't wait to come back to Porto and would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Slow Food, a restaurant in a tiny street opposite the hotel is lovely

The weirdest decor I've ever seen. Quirky some may say. Or oppressive. Not sure. We stayed 4 nights and that was probably enough as I was starting to get Seasonal Affective Disorder by then. Having said that I wouldn't say don't go. It's a talking point and it's differ. It's a goo location. The staff are super helpful. There's wifi. The breakfast was really good. The room was really nicely furnished and the bedding and bed and towels all high quality. You're about 15 mins nice stroll to the river. The hotel reception will give you all the info you need and a map and even recommend a good restaurant. Take the bus tour as its really good value as is the Sandeman tour. Enjoy!

Lovely atmospheric hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Large comfortable beds. Great drench shower. Good food in restaurant. Plentiful breakfast with lots of choice. Nice comfy chairs in bar area with good service.

Room Tip: Good accessibility. Lift to all floors with helpful staff. No A/C noise. Quiet room.

The hotel is very poorly lit and can lead to accidents. It is however very well located as a tourist destination. Good well laid out breakfast.
The best shower in my entire travelling experience. If it was not for the strange lighting it would get 4 stars.
