Description: “Pedro Lemos” is one of Oporto’s most renowned restaurants. The chef ’s originality stands in a pleasantlysurprising contrast to the typical Portuguese flavors,so as to present the clients with unique and unforgettableculinary experiences, turning each meal into an“urban safari”. Located in Foz, one of Oporto’s mostbeautiful and emblematic historical neighborhoods, therestaurant’s venue is a building deemed of architecturalsignificance. It was first inaugurated in 1964 as a Britishinspiredpub that became a place of choice of that time’selites. At Pedro Lemos you can explore different spacesand ambiances, always exquisite and comfortable. The specialty of the restaurant are the seasonal tasting menus. The wine selection is carefully sourced, the service is impeccable.

The restaurant has 2 rooms. Please make sure you book the upper one. The other one is less interesting...
We had two people serving us. One (Pedro) was amazing. The other (a women) was a total disaster and almost ruined our meal... I hate to be ignored...
We chose the 2 tasting menus. The dishes vary from normal to good. None of them is amazing which in a restaurant this level is a shame...
At this price point Paparico is much much better.
The toilets were also dirty and ran out of towels... no one was checking them...

Excellent food, excellent wines, excellent service. Were a bit puzzled by the 10 courses menu but it was all good. Very subtle tastes and associations, mixing classics with modernity.

The majority of the reviews I had read prior to making my reservation and dining there earlier in the week for my gf’s Birthday raves about the atmosphere and food. This is another one of those.

We did the 8 course tasting with wine pairing. The experience as a whole was incredible. The food, phenomenal. There were only 2 of the 8 courses that had any “foam” so chill out with the distasteful hatred towards a different type of gastronomy that takes exceptional skill.

Our main waiter, Mikael (spelling?) and the rest of the staff were on top of the service and proper clearing, cleaning, pre setting and explanation of everything going on. His English was pretty good so that was definitely helpful.

Chef Lemos wowed my gf for her birthday and I got to witness the enjoyment she got out of the dining experience so if we are ever back in Porto and able to visit, we will be sure to.

Located a bit out of the main downtown touristy parts by the river, this cozy high end place impressed the jaded NYer in me. Dishes were very smart and innovative. No major misses in any of them and the wine...of course, was amazing. My favorite was the dessert that was, if I remember correctly, white chocolate but made to look like a citrus fruit!

This was my first meal in Porto, and what a wonderful welcome it was. The dishes were interesting and a beautiful mix of flavors. My favorite was a part with some fowl in it. The wine pairing was also delicious and the servers were knowledgeable about everything from the city to the food to the wine. A great experience. Lunch for one with wine pairing came to about 225 euro.
