We stumbled upon this place on the evening we arrived in Porto. Suffering from jet lag and half drenched from the sudden down pour, we thought it was a mirage at first because a) it was one of the very few places open in our area, and b) it offered more than pastries and a toasted sandwich. The interior and the staff were warm and inviting. The menu contained a variety of dishes which catered for all palates. A very modern place with a traditional flavour. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The service was great. It's a shame we were too tired to stay and enjoy it more!

Excellent meals....very tasty and nicely presented. You would think the meals are expensive, however they are very well priced. The cocktails are nice too and not over priced. Great dining experience!

Beware the address has changed, it has moved to Praça Carlos Alberto, right at the beginning of Rua da Cedofeita.

They have kept the same menu with a few additions, thin crust pizza, francesinhas, and such. A great place for a laid-back dinner with friends. Also a good option for lunch with their €10 menu with entrée, a choice among 3 main courses (one vegetarian) and dessert included!

We went to this restaurant after reading about it on the Lonely Planet guide to Portugal.
The menu offers many different options, all very tempting.
We had rump steak and a lamb steak; both dishes were good but served a bit cold, probably due to the 45 minutes wait since the order.
The deserts were good and the staff was friendly and helpful.
I would probably give it another shot.
