Description: Located in the art district, already famous fir its galleries, the Soares dos Reis Museum, the Palácio de Cristal Garden and the Carlos Alberto Theatre, the architecture and décor made possible by Ana Costa, have placed Artemísia on par with its French and New York counterparts. The fusion cuisine concepts brought to us by Chef Hugo Rocha, in which aromatic herbs and spices are featured alongside ingredients of exceptional quality, allow for an harmonious blend of flavours which will certainly be the delight of all our guests. These qualities have awarded us a recommendation in the Guia Michelin, and they allow you to enjoy the most elegant lunch or dinner of your choice, accompanied by a bottle from our extensive list of wines produced in Portugal.

Our hotel recommended Artemisia for dinner. It's on a small and narrow street, and easy to miss. Once inside you are welcomed by the warm and delightful. The green olive tapenade enhanced with corn bread surprised us. It was so good and such an odd blend of ingredients. Delicious! The foie gras was seared with a red wine reduction was out of this world. My friend had the lamb with mushroom risotto. I had the steak and prawn combo. Would highly recommend these entrees. The gentleman taking care of us may have been the owner - I don't know for certain BUT he was most attentive, informative, and very nice. Artemisia is a must for your trip to Porto. It's a small and inviting place off the beaten tourist traps. You will truly feel like a Porto resident when visiting. I would recommend this location to anyone dining in lovely Porto.

Small good restaurant of french portugese fusion, stlyish deco. We were served by the owner, excellent service. The food was delicious, am not a fan of risotto, however the wild mushroom risotto was simply beautifully done. My husband's entree of warm octopus was exquisite, so was his dessert of port wine with stawberry compote and dark chocolate, perfectly matched. We highly recommend this restaurant, was inexpensive, les than 100 € for our meals.

This restaurant is out of the touristy area and on a narrow street. It's worth the time to find it. I have eaten there several times and I find the food inventive. The covert (coperto), which can be poor in many restaurants, is excellent and was a surprise to my guests. The prices are certainly fair and the wine list is also very fairly priced with some excellent and eclectic choices. The room is modern, but surprising comfortable. An excellent restaurant!

Excellent little place close to our hotel. We went there both nights of our Porto trip, since the restaurant was very close to our hotel and we could use the babyphone. Nevertheless, we would also have come back just for the food - it's imaginative, tasty and of very good quality. It mixes traditional Portuguese cuisine with new elements and the results are almost always very successful. They do surf and turf equally well and they have a surprisingly large dessert menu, all of it a real treat! The service is very friendly and helpful and if you're a bit on the early side for dinner, as we were, they can give you a lot of valuable tips and insights into life in Porto.

Our dinner was fantastic. We both enjoyed the prix fixe menu with wine by the glass and were both pleased with each of the three courses. The quality of ingredients was exceptional and the atmosphere was enjoyable. We would return again if we lived in the area.
