Was gagging for a curry and this lovely restaurant delivered- perfect raita and naan bread and popadoms. However it was a little too pricy.
The service was fantastic and relaxing so on the whole- very good experience.

We arrived late and despite their closing time being in half an hour they were extremely welcoming and kind and we were totally unrushed.
2 ladies were attending to us and were friendly and efficient.
The raita, nan bread, rice and popadoms were 10/10 as was my mum's main dish of chicken karahi. My chicken makhani was delicious but I have had better and the chicken was cut up too small however I think that's normal for Portugal.
We were a little disappointed with the lack of Portuguese or indian beer on draught, but bottled cobra was available and saved the day!
Highly recommended if someone wants a relaxed and tasty indian meal and have enough money!
Ps slightly off the Main Street (why we were late!)

This modern restaurant with Asian furniture offers a perfect daily menu with several options to choose, including an excellent mutton rogan josh. I tried several dishes, all good. It also has an extensive menu with all kind of Indian specialities.
Reservations are advisable since the restaurant is often fully booked. Service is attentive, fast and friendly. I can't talk about price because I didn't pay, but I heard it wasn't expensive at all.
Conveniently located behind The Sheraton, it offers take away and free parking (The Sheraton car park).
Highly recommended.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Portugal.

It is run by a classy and friendly Indian family that preserves the food tradition. Every meal is prepared rigorously and great quality.

The offer is immense, there are dozens of great classic dishes like tikka masala, curries of all sort, Korma, karay, etc.
The starters are very diverse. They are well served and could be, on their own, an entire meal.
The main courses are also very diverse and the different tiles of basmati rice served make all of them an incredible experience of flavors and aromas.
The desserts are also very interesting and amazingly prepared with care.

The wine selection is very very good. Predominantly, Douro DOC region ones and great of quality. You'll be amazed by the combination and suggestions made. Ask the host for a more accurate one to combine with your meal.

The last part, the payment is where you see where all that quality and great service comes from. It's expensive. Not very very much, but still very expensive for the common middle class customer. If want great quality dinner, you have to pay for it and this is a good reason to do it. Give it a try and you'll definitely come back.
