Stayed there two nights. The hotel is almost perfect. It is incredible to have such modern rooms inside such an ancient building.
The rooms are pleasant and comfortable. The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town near an old church. Normally cars are not allowed in this area but the hotel has special arrangements so you can park close for a reasonable amount.
Breakfast was great with a lot of choices.
The only negative is that on both our nights, a gang of obviously drunk young people made a lot of noise, including playing a drum, very late at night. I am surprised no one complained or called the police. I don’t know if this is a frequent event

Dear guest

We appreciate your response and we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay. As for the noise, let me mention that this is a festive week associated with Catholic celebrations.

We look forward to welcoming you again.

See you soon,
Ernesto Fernandes

Stayed with the wife for three nights. Friendly staff, very clean, cosy atmosphere, great breakfast and a great location right in the centre of the old town. We will come again. The rate was very fair for what was offered. I booked through Booking.com, which is not a nice thing to do, really, as they charge the hotels around 15%. Next time I will book directly with the hotel.

Nice location in the middle of the old city. All interesting spots are within walking distance. The negative was that the rooms are small and car parking is 200 meters away from the hotel and there is no help with the luggage.

Room tip: Electrical outlets for laptop or phone charging are few and require unplugging lighting fixtures.

No gym, that is all to say negative. Rooms are well decorated and modern. It is in the heart of the city. Less than 5 minute walk to most sites in the historic city center. Probably 10 min walk to the furthest attraction. Parking is free but a bit complicated the first time you go. You have to go through one of those raising bollards (there is a guard during the day, otherwise drive close to the bollard and it automatically lowers), park, and put the hotel’s card on your windshield. Then it’s about a 5 min walk downhill. There are some cobble stones that aren’t conducive to luggage wheels right at the beginning, but after that it’s pretty easy. Finally, breakfast did not have a lot of selections, but everything was of high quality.

The hotel is in the middle of the historic district within walking distance of everything. Our room was unique and comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Staff was nice and helpful! The only small issue is the wall/adjoining door enabled us to hear everything in the room next door.
