As previous posters have said, it can be very tricky to find the hotel even with sat nav because of the system of one way streets. However the effort is worth it in the end because this is a very nice hotel. We managed to park very close to the hotel but yes it took us some time actually reaching the hotel itself. Best print out a large scale and up to date map if you do not have an updated sat nav.
Staff very helpful, rooms good and breakfast also. We used the hotel restaurant for diner and it was excellent.

Very hard to find even with GPS trying to send us wrong way down one way street. The other reviews of this hotel mare accurate. Clean, friendly and comfortable.

Parking is a bit painful. But it's not too far away and is undercover in shopping mall car park.
Restaurant at the hotel was good.

This is a lovely hotel, in a very central location. It is a little difficult to find as signs and street names are not easily visible and Braga has a complicated one-way system. However, once we did finally arrive at the hotel we were delighted that we had made the effort. The friendly welcome begins at the front desk, our particular thanks go to Carla but all the staff are extremely helpful and very efficient. The whole atmosphere is one of quiet relaxation and nothing was a problem. We ate twice in their excellent restaurant, enjoying the buffet lunch which is great value for money. Our room was simple but clean and comfortable. When we asked for a tea tray this was immediately provided. Although the hotel is in the centre of town it is in a pedestrian area so is very quiet. It is a lovely old building with lots of history which has been sympathetically modernised to provide the guest with everything they need. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, you will not be disappointed and will probably end up loving it, as we did.

Room Tip: Higher floor is lighter and you are less likely to be disturbed by fellow guests

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our three night stay in this hotel. Cleanliness, size of room and bath, location and personal service in both hotel and restaurant were all top-notch. (Particular thanks to proprietor Antonio and Carla at front desk for warmth and attentiveness.) We paid a very low price for all this quality, which made it extra-memorable. Their excellent restaurant, Centurium, (which is also where the included breakfast is served) is also highly recommended. Prices may be a bit higher than the typical family-run taberna, but the quality of the cuisine (yes, that is the right word) and the service put it on a par with some of the best places we have eaten anywhere.
We can't think why a traveller to Braga would want to stay anywhere else.

I stayed one night in this hotel. Double room was very spacious (bedroom+ living room) and generous treats such as fruit bowl, coffee, tea and big bottle of water. It was spotlessly clean. Staff in reception was very helpful. Breakfast is ok. Hotel is centrally located in the heart of old city. I certainly recommend it.

Stayed here for 2 days A bit difficult to find in a car with the current central town works. In the end its park in a shopping car park, discount available.

Turns out to be on a mainly pedestrianised street, helps keep the noise down!

Warmly welcomed and sent on my way to my modern quite room in this lovely old building. Comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom complemented by suitable storage.

Most reasonable bar prices ever for this standard of hotel, always a welcome and the night porter will serve you as required. Room prices also very reasonable even accounting for Portuguese prices in general

Breakfast was a bit on the average side with limited hot food not seemingly replenished too often later in the service, other choices a bit low too. On the other hand we had an excellent evening meal on the first night. I am normally someone who avoids hotel restaurants but can’t remember a better hotel meal than the one I had here.

All staff universally excellent, would love to come back. Whilst enjoying a final drink prior to departure I was called to reception to collect books I had left in the room!

Located in the centre of the city, close to underground parking. Very friendly staff and reception. Clean and modern rooms with all comfort you need. The breakfast is great with lots of choise. I would certainly come back.
