A really nice restaurant situated on one of the higher view points of the island, visited for the first time on our fifth visit to the island. Essential to ask for a window table when booking. The island becomes enchanting as dusk gives way to darkness and the twinkling lights takeover.
Five of us dined at the Panorama indulging in appetizers, fabulous grilled shrimps in lime and chilli sauce starter and perfect steaks to follow for four and the black pork specialty for the other. Lovely vegetable accompaniments to the mains. Delicious apple pie with caramel and ice cream dessert to follow.
All washed down with a couple of bottles of the proprietors red Portuguese fabulous wine recommendation (€37/bottle) with coffee to follow.
Service was exemplary throughout and the bill reasonable value for money at €43 per head.
A memorable visit which no doubt will be repeated on our next visit to Porto Santo.
