Lovely experience. Ordered 4 tapas for €5 each. We were asked what we liked and did not like. 4 x2 very individual tapas arrived. Probably better to describe them as canapés as were more like tapas on bread. However really delicious. We ordered a further round and were given different ones. Just as good. Run by 2 lovely ladies. One front of house. One cooking. Only 5 to 6 tables so quite intimate. Starter, 16 tapas/canapés, pudding, espresso and bottle of wine, plus tip came to €40.

Excellent lttle bar to stop at in Funchal old town for drinks and tapas. The ladies who run this tapas bar are so friendly and the food is of the highest quality. You won't be disappointed.

Wow so glad I had a look in tripadvisor for new places to eat. Open a year the two women who own this little place produce the best tapas! We were asked if we couldn't eat anything and then they went away and produced eight different tapas, there was a mix of meat, fish and vegtable tapas all served on a slice of bread! My favourite was the local sausage (salami) served with light cheese and mango chutney . We washed all the divine mouthfuls down with fresh poncha!! We'll recommend.

This place is charming in the heart of the old town. It is small but intimate. The food is so tasty and varied. It is more like Pinchos than Tapas in that everythig is served on slices of toasted crusty bread. I had 3 platefulls, everyone delicious, including sardines, local cheese, grated courgette, carpaccio, pear & goats cheese. All washed down with excellent local wine!
