Day 1, we ordered Lamb, chicken and Rodizo - Lamb arrived on a skewer - 4 huge tender, slightly pink and juicy chops. My companion's face was a picture when it was delivered to the table. The Rodizo is a banquet - fantastic buffet that included hot and cold food and then a selection of meats are bought to the table. You are provided with a disc red on one side and green the other. Keep it on green and they keep filling your plate!. A selection of chicken wrapped in bacon, speciality sausages, beef ribs, belly pork, pork fillet and more and to top it off roasted pineapple flavoured with a little cinnamon - brilliant. On our second visit my Father went for the Steak on Stone option - persuaded by our Friend to the large size a steak and red hot stone with sauces was brought to the table - the steak was tender enough to cut with a butter knife before it was transferred to the stone to be sizzled - Generous portions. Competitive pricing and friendly staff - not a restaurant to be missed particularly as in the opinion of all three of us, the espetadas, steaks etc. were the best we had during our recent 10 day stay and in previous visits to Madeira.
